Hydra Finish Season on High Note

Worcester’s Eric Robertson and Michael Bustamante both scored to lead the Hydra to a 2-0 win over the Phantoms in Saturday’s season finale at Portsmouth High School.

Robertson opened the account in the 60th minute the while Bustamante added an insurance goal in stoppage time to lead the Hydra to their sixth win of the season. Hydra keeper Oliver Blum made a pair of saves to pick up his third shutout while the Phantoms’ Colin O’Donnell made four saves in the losing effort.

With the win, Worcester finishes its inaugural season with a 6-5-5 (23 points) record, good for fourth in the Northeast Division. Meanwhile, Seacoast United ends its campaign with a 5-6-5 (20 points) record, en route to a fifth place finish.
