It appears the Revolution will welcome a new face for training this week.

Harrisburg City Islanders (USL-PRO) defender Bilal Duckett, who played for Vancouver in 2011, will train with the Revolution this week according to a report from Pennlive.com.

Duckett, 23, played in four games (two starts) with the Whitecaps last season before the club waived him in November. The 6-2 right back, who also played centrally and out on the left during his stay in Vancouver, signed a deal with Harrisburg prior to the start of the 2012 season, and went on to score a goal to go along with a pair of assists in 19 games for the City Islanders.

Duckett played the entirety of the Harrisburg’s dramatic May 23rd Open Cup tie against the Revolution, and converted his club’s third penalty attempt to help lead his club to the upset win.

With a reserve game on tap for the Revolution on Friday, Duckett may find a greater opportunity to showcase his form in front of the coaching staff given the injuries and schedule congestion the club has endured during the last two weeks.
