New England Revolution striker Saer Sene could be looking for a summer move back to France or England according to a report from the French edition of Yahoo Sports. The report claims French Ligue 1 clubs FC Sochaux and Stade Rennais F.C. have inquired about the French striker.

The Revolution were not immediately available for comment.

Sene led the Revolution in scoring last season with 11 goals and three assists in 25 games (23 starts) before suffering a season-ending ACL tear in his left knee on August 29. The 6-foot-3 forward, who has seen most of his playing time on the wings this season, has a goal and two assists in 11 games (4 starts) this year, while working his way back to form after ACL surgery last September.

Sene began his career in the youth system of Paris Saint-Germain and after playing for some lower division clubs in France and Germany, he eventually ended up at German giants Bayern Munich, where he spent most of his time with the reserve team before moving to New England.
