Fresh Threads: Revs Debut New Kit on 3/4

96-1

It’s unlikely that the Revs will make the kind of bold statement they made with their inaugural kits when they unveil their new 2014 primary kits next month.

The New England Revolution roster hasn’t undergone an extreme makeover this offseason by any stretch of the imagination, but team will certainly look different when they step onto the pitch for First Kick.

On Mar. 4, the club will unveil its new 2014 primary kits at Royale Night Club in Boston as part of a special fashion show, which will begin at 7pm. The theme of the event is “Made in New England,” and a video tribute to the Revolution’s roots to the region will be featured.

The unveiling of the new kit is part of Major League Soccer’s “Jersey Week,” which will see a host of clubs across the league debut their new threads for the 2014 season.

The last time the club raised the curtains on a new look came prior to the 2012 season, when the primary and secondary kits were revamped.  Since then, clubs have staggered the release of new kits, with changes to primary and secondary looks made every other year.

The new Revolution kits will make their official debut during the Mar. 8 season opener in Houston.
