Toronto, Ontario, Canada — The Revolution travel north to Toronto on Saturday night to battle their Eastern conference foe for their second match this season.

Location: BMO Field, Toronto

Scheduled kick-off: 5:00 p.m.

TV/Radio: Comcast Sportsnet; 98.5 FM The Sports Hub.

Season series: Second meeting of three between the two teams; Revolution beat Toronto FC at BMO Field 2-1 on May 3rd; Both teams will meet in the season finale at Gilette Stadium on October 25th.

Revolution update: 9-12-3 overall, 30 points through 24 games (1.25 points per game), with 31 goals scored and 36 goals against….Currently sit one point behind the New York Red Bulls for fifth place in the Eastern Conference and three points behind the Columbus Crew for fourth place….The Revolution are unbeaten in their last three matches against Toronto FC with 2 wins and a draw, dating back to the 2012 season…After an 8-game losing streak where the Revolution scored five times, the Revolution have gone 2-1-1 in their last three games, scoring six times…The Revolution have scored first in each of the last four games…. The Revolution will play their next three games at home during a key stretch with only 10 games remaining on the schedule.

Toronto FC update: 9-8-6 overall, 33 points through 23 games (1.43 points per game), with 35 goals scored and 36 goals against…..Currently in third place in the Eastern Conference….Coming off a 2-2 draw at home vs. Chicago…Have allowed multiple goals their last three games and in six of their last seven MLS matches….Former Tottenham forward Jermain Defoe leads the team with 11 goals on the season, which is tied for fifth in the MLS….Defoe also ranks second in the MLS with 0.75 goals per 90 minutes, only behind Bradley Wright-Phillips of the New York Red Bulls.
