FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The Revolution host the Montreal Impact on Saturday night in their second of three matches this season.

Location: Gillette Stadium, Foxboro.

Scheduled kick-off: 7:30 p.m.

TV/Radio: Comcast Sportsnet; 98.5 FM The Sports Hub.

Season series: Montreal beat the Revoultion 2-0 on May 31 this season in Montreal; The teams will meet once more this season in Montreal on October 11.

Revolution update: 12-12-3 overall, 39 points through 27 games (1.44 points per game), with 39 goals scored and 38 goals against….Currently sit three points behind Sporting Kansas City for second place in the Eastern Conference and are two points ahead of the New York Red Bulls, who sit in fourth.  The Columbus Crew and Philadelphia Union, in fifth and sixth place, respectively, are three points behind the Revolution….The Revolution are 5-1-1 in their last seven games, including a four game win streak and a 4-1-0 record in their last five home games…The Revolution are 3-0-0 with Jermaine Jones, outscoring opponents 8-2 in those three games….The Revolution are 2-4-0 vs. the Montreal Impact, including an 0-2-0 record at home.

Montreal Impact update: 5-16-6 overall, 21 points through 27 games (0.78 points per game), with 31 goals scored and 50 goals against…..Currently in last place in the Eastern Conference, and has the fewest points and points per game in the MLS…Leads the league in goals conceded….Currently last in the MLS in goals scored….Coming off a 2-2 draw at home vs. LA Galaxy, in which the Impact could not hold a 2-0 halftime lead….The Impact are trying to snap a six-game losing streak in MLS road games, where they’ve been outscored 15-7.  Montreal’s last road point came in a scoreless draw in Vancouver on June 25….Montreal is still searching for their first road win this season and currently have a 0-10-3 record on the road.

Injuries: The Revolution have two players out – Andy Dorman is out with a right MCL sprain and Stephen McCarthy is out with a left Meniscus injury.  Chris Tierney is questionable with a left knee sprain, while Shalrie Joseph is no longer listed on the injury report….No update injury report from the Montreal Impact was made available.

Suspensions: The Revolution have no current suspensions, though Chris Tierney and Teal Bunbury are one yellow card away from a suspension and two games away from a one card reduction for good behavior….Starting Montreal midfielder Felipe Martins is suspended due to yellow card accumulation, while Karl Ouimette is one card away from a suspension.
