Foxboro, Massachusetts — The Revolution finish their regular season at home on Saturday against Toronto FC.

Location:Gillette Stadium

Scheduled kick-off: 7:30 p.m.

Season series: Final regular-season meeting between the two teams; The Revolution won both meetings with a 2-1 victory on May 3 and a 3-0 victory on August 30. Both matches played this season were played at BMO Field.

Revolution update: 16-13-4overall, 52 points through 33 games (1.58 points per game), with 50 goals scored and 46 goals against….The Revolution have clinched second place in the Eastern Conference, regardless of the result Saturday…With 16 wins on the season, the Revolution can tie their franchise record for wins in a season, which was set in 2005. The Revs also finish their road schedule with six wins on the road, which tied a franchise record set in 2005, 2007, 2008, and 2013….The Revolution are 8-1-1 in their last ten games…The Revolution are 15-0-1in gamesin which they have scored two or more goals, with the one draw coming on October 11th at Montreal…The Revolution lead the all-time series against Toronto FC with a record of 7-4-7, which includes a 5-2-2 record at home…With two goals last match vs. Houston, Lee Nguyen moved into tied for fourth in the MLS in goals with 17, and leads all MLS midfielders. Eight of his 17 goals are game winning goals….The Revolution have three players – Shalrie Joesph, Stephen McCarthy, and Luis Soffner – listed as out on the injury report. Although none of them are a major surprise, it officially rules out Joesph from making his on-field return to the Revolution. The seven-time all-star and Revolution great was claimed by New England in the waiver draft in April, but never made an appearance  in 2014….Teal Bunbury is ruled questionable with hamstring tightness.

Toronto FC update: 11-14-8overall, 41 points through 33 games (1.24 points per game), with44 goals scored and 53goals against…..Currently in seventh place in the Eastern Conference, and out of playoff contention. This will mark Toronto FC’s eighth consecutive season missing the playoffs…Toronto is coming off a 1-1 home draw with Montreal. Toronto FC hasn’t won since a 3-2 home victory over the Portland Timbers on September 27th and haven’t won on the road since a 3-2 victory at Columbus on August 9th. Overall, Toronto is 0-3-1 in their last five matches…Toronto FC will be playing without Dwayne De Rosario, who was suspended for kicking an opponent during stoppage time in last week’s match vs. the Montreal Impact.

Next for Revolution: Leg 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, Nov. 1 or 2. Opponent and location TBD.
