Revolution U-16 forward Justin Rennicks, who spent time with the senior team during its stay in Tucson last month, was among four academy products who were called up by U.S. Youth National Teams on Monday.

Rennicks and two of his U-16 teammates – defenders Calvin Aroh and Daniel Jones – will join the U.S. U-16s Boys National Team for the Netherlands International Tournament, which will run from Mar. 7-16. The U-16s will face Ireland (Mar. 11), Czech Republic (Mar. 13) and the Netherlands (Mar. 15) during the nine-day tournament.

“This is another terrific opportunity for all of the players to prove themselves at the highest level – we are pleased for each of them,” Revolution director of youth development Bryan Scales said in a team release on Monday. “The process of becoming a top player never stops, and each of these players understands that. The privilege to represent the New England Revolution and U.S. Soccer comes with high expectations – both on and off the field – that I know each of these young men will meet.”

Meanwhile, Revolution U-14 defender Connor Haskell was called up by the U.S. U-15 Boys National Team for a weeklong camp in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., which will run from Mar. 8-15.

“Connor has made significant progress and has worked hard for this opportunity,” Scales said. “He has good training habits and has been able to put together some very good performances with our U-16s in U.S. Soccer Development Academy matches and the U-17 Generation adidas Cup.”
