Revolution defender Darrius Barnes, who was listed as “questionable” on the club’s injury report last week due to a left knee sprain, has been downgraded to “out” on Thursday’s report.

Barnes, who missed last week’s match at Philadelphia, has not played since the Revolution’s 0-0 draw to Columbus on Apr. 11. He was the lone Revolution player absent from training on Wednesday.

It is unclear how Barnes, who went the full 90 against the Crew, suffered the injury. He was seen in the locker room after the match with a large ice pack on his left knee.

Fellow defender Jose Goncalves was added to the injury report, and is listed as “questionable” due to a left calf strain. He was a late-scratch ahead of Sunday’s match in Philadelphia.

Midfielder Daigo Kobyashi, who last saw action against on Mar. 28 against the Earthquakes, remains on was listed as “questionable” with a left hamstring strain for the fourth straight week.

Meanwhile, there was some measure of good news for the club on the injury front. Chris Tierney, who suffered a left ankle sprain prior to the Columbus match, was removed from the injury list.
