London Woodberry’s availability Wednesday’s knockout match at DC United is up in the air after the Revolution right back was listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain on the team’s latest injury report.

Woodberry suffered the injury late in the first half of Sunday’s match at New York City FC after Khiry Shelton fell on the right back’s left leg. Woodberry required the attention of the training staff, and attempted to play through it before Kevin Alston came on to take his place right before halftime.

The 24-year-old defender, who made 18 appearances and collected a pair of assists this season, had started during the Revolution’s last two matches at right back.

Prior to Tuesday’s training session, Revolution coach Jay Heaps didn’t directly address Woodberry’s injury, but noted that lineup changes might be necessary.

“You might see one or two different guys,” Heaps told the media on Tuesday. “But overall, we want to make sure that guys are fit and flying going into Wednesday.”

Should the ankle knock force Woodberry to miss Wednesday’s match, Alston or Jeremy Hall could get the start in his place.
