DeNormandie scores, assists

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Cole DeNormandie picked up a goal and an assist for the Revolution U-18s over the weekend.

The 17-year-old striker, who tallied his third goal of the season against Potomac on Saturday, also recorded an assist in the Baltimore Bays Chelsea Sunday tilt.

Meanwhile, the U-18s were unable to find victory over the weekend. DeNormandie’s 58th minute goal leveled the score against the guests, but neither club was able to find the go-ahead as the match remained 1-1 after the final whistle.

On Sunday, the hosts took an early lead thanks to a Cameron Bielski goal in the 54th minute. But the lead was lost after a pair of Baltimore goals from Chris Somerville in the 83rd minute and Joseph Calahan in the 87th minute.

The U-16s secured some measure of success with a 1-0 win against Potomac. Forest Sisk scored his first goal of the season ten minutes from time to give his club three points on Saturday.

But, the following game, the U-16s found themselves on the opposite end of a 1-0 scoreline as they were blanked by Baltimore Bay Chelsea. Jeremy DeGraffenreidt scored the lone goal for the guests in the 50th minute.

The Revolution Academy hits the road this weekend for a slate of matches in New York. On Saturday, Met Oval will play host to the Academy in Maspeth, with a trip to Brooklyn the following day to face Cosmos Academy East.
