Another year will bring another different look for the New England Revolution.

Less than 12 months after introducing an all-new secondary kit, the Revolution refreshed its primary look for the 2016 season during Thursday’s Jersey Launch Party at Gillette Stadium.

While the club didn’t stray far from its recognizable navy blue top, the club did incorporate a vertical white and red center stripe, which bears a passing resemblance to the iconic kit worn by French Ligue side Paris St. Germaine.

The new primary shirt will be once again paired with white shorts and navy socks, a look that originated with the introduction of the 2014-15 primary strip.

Among the players who modeled the jersey was rookie fullback Jordan McCrary, who gave his approval of the new kit.

“It looks amazing,” McCrary said. “I might have to take this one off right now and keep it.”

The Revolution will likely debut the new primary shirts in their First Kick clash against the Houston Dynamo on Mar. 6 at BBVA Compass Stadium given that the hosts typically wear their customary orange kit at home.
