Not long after he was fired as Revolution coach, Jay Heaps took to Twitter to say thanks in what he called his first official tweet.

Tweeting a picture that displayed a typed sheet outlining those he wished to thank, the former Revolution boss offered gratitude to his family, the fans, his fellow coaches, the front office, and the Krafts.

1st official tweet but not my last. After parting ways with the Revs, I had a few thoughts to share and people to thank. It is unclear what the future holds for Heaps, who was the color analyst on the club’s television broadcasts between 2010-11.
