This week Brian O\u2019Connell and Sean Donahue contributed ratings for the Revs\u2019 1-0 victory over Kansas City.<\/a><\/em><\/p>\n

Bobby Shuttleworth <\/strong>\u2013 Average Rating: 6.75<\/strong> (Brian 6.5, Sean 7)
\nWasn’t tested much, but communicated well with his defenders. Solid effort. (Brian) \u2026 Good positioning and distributed well. Helped organize the defense and earned his first career shutout. (Sean)<\/p>\n

Seth Sinovic <\/strong>– Average Rating: 6<\/strong> (Brian 6, Sean 6)
\nAnother good performance, rendered Kei Kamara obsolete in the second half (Brian) \u2026 Very solid performance defensively, though didn\u2019t contribute much on his few ventures forward (Sean)<\/p>\n

Emmanuel Osei<\/strong> – Average Rating: 4.25<\/strong> (Brian 4, Sean 4.5)
\nGuilty of a few mental errors deep in his own end.\u00a0(Brian) \u2026 Some poor marking on a few occasions, but didn\u2019t get punished for his mistakes like he has been in recent weeks. (Sean)<\/p>\n

Darrius Barnes<\/strong> – Average Rating: 6.75 <\/strong>(Brian 6.5, Sean 7)
\nFeatured well in front of Shuttleworth, easily the best in back. (Brian) \u2026 Another strong performance at center back. Barnes’ play has been a key to the Revs\u2019 success in the past couple games. (Sean)<\/p>\n

Chris Tierney<\/strong> – Average Rating: 5.75 <\/strong>(Brian 5.5, Sean 6)
\nBeautiful ball on the Joseph goal, but didn’t add much more to the attack. (Brian) \u2026 Held his own out of position at right back. Possibly his best performance as a defender. (Sean)

Kenny Mansally<\/strong> – Average Rating: 5.5<\/strong> (Brian 5, Sean 6)
\nHad a few flashes in the second frame, but wasn’t especially sharp on the ball. (Brian) \u2026 Made some nice runs cutting inside and was very active in the attack (Sean)<\/p>\n

Shalrie Joseph<\/strong> – Average Rating: 7.5<\/strong> (Brian 7.5, Sean 7.5)
\nA one-man wrecking crew. Smooth finish on his goal. Best player on the pitch. (Brian) \u2026 Excellent goal. Looked sharp attacking and controlled the midfield for the Revs. (Sean)<\/p>\n

Jason Griffiths<\/strong> – Average Rating: 4.75 <\/strong>(Brian 5, Sean 4.5)
\nStruggled with possession, slowly improved near the finish. (Brian) \u2026 Seemed to have good ideas in the attack, but his execution was off all night. Decision making seemed a bit slow, possibly due to lack of playing time recently. (Sean)<\/p>\n

Sainey Nyassi <\/strong>– Average Rating: 5<\/strong> (Brian 5, Sean 5)
\nMade a few good runs, but his crosses were painfully lacking, (Brian) \u2026 Not one of his best performances. Earned some dangerous free kicks, but his crossing and shooting let him down. (Sean)

\nMarko Perovic<\/strong> \u00a0– Average Rating: 5.25 <\/strong>(Brian 5, Sean 5.5)
\nGood on set pieces, but was absent in the attacking third. (Brian) \u2026 Combined very well with Joseph on his early shot that hit the post, but otherwise didn\u2019t see enough of the ball to make much of an impact. (Sean)<\/p>\n

Ilija Stolica<\/strong> – Average Rating: 4.25 <\/strong>(Brian 4, Sean 4.5): A non-factor for much of the night, largely due to the lack of quality service. (Brian) \u2026 Rarely saw the ball to make an impact. (Sean)<\/p>\n

(sub) Zack Schilawski <\/strong>– Average Rating: 4.5 <\/strong>(Brian 4, Sean 5): – Like Stolica, lacked the service to add anything to the attack.\u00a0(Brian) \u2026 Worked hard to put pressure on the Wizards defense and help the Revs maintain their lead, but didn\u2019t have the opportunity to make an impact offensively.
