It appears the Revolution will welcome a new face for training this week.<\/p>\n

Harrisburg City Islanders (USL-PRO) defender Bilal Duckett, who played for Vancouver in 2011, will train with the Revolution this week according to a report from Pennlive.com.<\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Duckett, 23, played in four games (two starts)\u00a0with the Whitecaps last season before the club waived him in November.\u00a0The 6-2 right back, who also played centrally and out on the left during his stay in Vancouver,\u00a0signed a deal with Harrisburg prior to the start of the 2012 season, and\u00a0went on to score a goal\u00a0to go along with\u00a0a pair of assists in 19 games for the City Islanders.<\/p>\n

Duckett\u00a0played the entirety of the Harrisburg’s dramatic May 23rd Open Cup tie against the Revolution, and converted his club’s third penalty attempt to help lead\u00a0his club\u00a0to the upset win.<\/p>\n

With a reserve game on tap for the Revolution\u00a0on Friday, Duckett may find\u00a0a greater\u00a0opportunity to showcase his form in front of the coaching staff given the injuries and schedule congestion the club has\u00a0endured during the last two weeks.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
