Former Revolution\u00a0center back\u00a0Ryan Cochrane and midfielder\/defender Kyle Altman have been named to the North American Soccer League’s 2012 Best XI Team, the league on announced on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Cochrane, who\u00a0featured at\u00a0center back for the Revolution in 2011, scored a goal and added three assists in 25 games for the regular season champion\u00a0San Antonio Scorpions in 2012. Additionally, he was part of Scorpion back four that conceded the fewest goals this season (27).<\/p>\n

Altman was drafted in the second round of the\u00a02008 Supplemental Draft by the Revolution before he eventually moved on to the Minnesota Stars. As club captain, he logged 1700 minutes\u00a0to lead the NASL\u00a0defending champion Stars back to the postseason this year.<\/p>\n

Others\u00a0listed on the Best XI with ties to the Revolution: Defender Takuya Yamada (Tampa Bay Rowdies), who trialed in New England during the 2007 preseason,\u00a0and\u00a0midfielder Luke Mulholland (Minnesota Stars), who trained in Foxboro during the 2012 preseason.<\/p>\n
