The New England Revolution added one more game to\u00a0next year’s preseason slate, with a friendly against the 2012 Supporters’ Shield-winning San Jose Earthquakes\u00a0lined up\u00a0for Jan. 29.<\/p>\n
The game\u00a0is set to kick off at 6pm local time, and will be played at Kino North, Field\u00a0#5.\u00a0The matchup is part of\u00a0the The Desert Friendlies presented by FC Tucson, a series of preseason matches hosted\u00a0by the Arizona-based\u00a0PDL club, which will run from Jan. 29 through Feb. 8. The\u00a0Friendlies will\u00a0lead up to the FC Tucson Desert Diamond Cup, which kicks off on Feb. 13.<\/p>\n
To date, New England has a total of five preseason matches scheduled for 2013, including four Desert Diamond Cup contests.<\/p>\n
In 2012, the club played a total of seven preseason matches, and went 6-0-1.<\/p>\n
