A pair of trialists scored for the Rochester Rhinos in a snowy, 2-0 preseason-opening win\u00a0over Canisius College\u00a0on Thursday at Sahlen’s Stadium.<\/p>\n
Jochen Graf (33′) and Tyler Regan (70′)\u00a0each grabbed a goal, while goalkeepers Kristian Nicht and Brandon Miller combined to keep the sheet clean.<\/p>\n
“We had a chance to get about 30 to 45 minutes for the guys that we currently have under contract,\u201d Rhinos head coach Jesse Myers said in a statement. \u201cThose minutes should help us build on the fitness base that we’ve been developing in training. We also had the opportunity to take a look at our trialists in the second half. Most importantly we got our work in, and got out of the match healthy.\u201d<\/p>\n
