Field conditions\u00a0have forced the start of the\u00a0Ligas Unidas Soccer Association (LUSA) season to be pushed back by one week, with Apr. 27 penciled as the new kickoff date.<\/p>\n

Originally, an Apr. 21 clash between the defending league champion Fall River Sports and Cup and Super Cup winners East Providence Sports at Riverside Rec Park was to headline the Week 1 schedule.<\/p>\n

Instead, Fall River Sports will host LUSA Cup finalist Taunton Eagles on Apr. 27 at Billy Gonsalves Field in Fall River, Mass. East Providence Sports will host Casa Do Benfica on the Apr. 28. Start times for both games have not yet been announced.<\/p>\n
