The New England Revolution might want to a hire\u00a0some campaign managers for their All-Star nominees this summer.<\/p>\n

One week into fan voting for the MLS All-Star Game,\u00a0no Revolution player has earned enough votes through Jun. 17 to be listed among the league’s top selections.\u00a0 Revolution nominees Diego Fagundez and Bobby Shuttleworth are ranked inside the top 12 on the latest MLS Castrol Index<\/a>, but neither has\u00a0garnered\u00a0the sufficient\u00a0number of votes\u00a0to earn serious consideration at their respective positions.<\/p>\n

Fagundez, who is ranked 10th on the Index,\u00a0currently has a club-high five goals to go along with three assists. However, the 18-year-old Homegrown Player\u00a0not among\u00a0the top 7 midfielders in the fan vote.<\/p>\n

Shuttleworth is ranked 12th on the Index,\u00a0and is tied for the league lead in clean sheets with Sporting K.C. keeper\u00a0Jimmy Nielsen.\u00a0The 26-year-old keeper has also\u00a0helped the Revolution tie K.C. for the best goals against average (0.86)\u00a0in MLS. Yet, he\u00a0has not received enough votes to earn a top\u00a05\u00a0spot at goalkeeper.<\/p>\n

The remaining four Revolution All-Star nominees are ranked on the Index as follows: Jose Goncalves (55th), Lee Nguyen (111th), Andrew Farrell (157th), and Kelyn Rowe (198th).<\/p>\n

Fans can vote for the All-Star First XI through Monday, July 2 at 3 p.m. ET online HERE<\/a> or by sending a player\u2019s last name via text message to 22442. Twitter voting will occur Jun. 20-21. The 10 players with the highest combined votes from these three voting methods will be named to the All-Star Fan XI.<\/p>\n

The 11th player \u2013 a forward \u2013 on the Fan XI will be decided after the general voting window closes on July 2, as part of the AT&T MLS All-Star \u2018In the Game\u2019 Challenge that will take place from July 3-July 10.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
