The Boston Breakers College Academy announced its 30-player roster on Thursday in preparation of its second season competing in WPSL, which kicks off on May 18.<\/p>\n

The Breakers Academy, which went 6-3-2 for a second place finish inside the\u00a0Northeast Atlantic – North\u00a0Division (now\u00a0called the New England Division)\u00a0in 2013, will welcome back 11 players from last year’s side. Among those returning are Boston College products Alex Johnson and Casey Morrison.<\/p>\n

In addition to the returnees, the side will welcome UCLA’s Sam Mewis, as well as Harvard stars Midge Purce and Haley Washburn.<\/p>\n

The Breakers Academy is comprised entirely of college-aged players with NCAA eligibility remaining, is one of the youngest sides in the New England Division.<\/p>\n

The squad will kick off its campaign against the Boston Reserves at 3pm on May 18 at Harvard Stadium.<\/p>\n
