New England Revolution stars Lee Nguyen and Jermaine Jones were both named by U.S. Men\u2019s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann to a 23-player roster on Saturday for the upcoming U.S. friendlies against Chile and Panama. The U.S. opens 2015 against Chile on Wednesday, Jan. 28, in Rancagua with kickoff at Estadio El Teniente set for 6 p.m. ET on Fox Sports 1. After returning to the U.S., the team will face Panama on Sunday, Feb. 8, in Carson, Calif. at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN.<\/p>\n

The U.S. National Team has been training at the National Training Center in Carson since Jan. 12.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese guys have put in a lot of work these past two weeks of training for what is essentially their preseason, and now it\u2019s time to focus on getting a result against a difficult opponent in Chile,\u201d said Klinsmann in a release from U.S. Soccer. \u201cWe know it\u2019s going to be a challenging situation, but these are the types of opportunities we need to keep growing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Twenty of the 23 man roster currently ply their trade in Major League Soccer. The Revolution are tied with Sporting Kansas City, Toronto FC, D.C. United, Real Salt Lake and the Colorado Rapids for the most representation on the roster. Former Revolution star Clint Dempsey was also named to the roster.<\/p>\n
