Last year, he played in one match for the now-defunct Chivas USA, and subsequently became a free agent after the club was dissolved during the offseason. He is expected to serve as the Revolution&#8217;s third goalkeeper.<\/p>\n<p>Spangenberg is the third trialist on the Revolution&#8217;s preseason roster to ink a deal.
