The New England Revolution have reached a loan agreement with Chacarita Juniors (Argentina) to\u00a0sign defender Franco Coria to New England’s roster. Terms of the loan have not been confirmed, although it is believed that it may include language that will allow the Revolution to purchase Coria’s contract.<\/p>\n
Coria is a 22-year-old homegrown product of the Chacarita\u00a0youth system. The\u00a0Buenos Aires native\u00a0joined the senior roster last year and played in eight matches. This season, he’s been limited to one appearance so far,\u00a0coming on as\u00a0a\u00a0substitute against A. Rafaela on October 10, 2010.<\/p>\n
The arrival of the Argentiniean is subject to the approval of a P1 work visa, which are often issued within a week or two of a player’s application.<\/p>\n
