The Revolution split their season series\u00a0with DC last year, falling 2-0 in the first meeting between the two before winning the next match 2-1. The Revs are 17-10-5 versus DC at home.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 This will be the first of two meetings between the teams this season, with New England traveling to DC on June 21.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 In the Revs 2-1 victory last year, Diego Fagundez scored the game-winning goal in the 77th minute, just four minutes after DC United tied the game at one courtesy of Fabian Espindola. Patrick Mullins was the other goalscorer for New England, scoring the game&#8217;s first goal in the 55th minute.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Revolution update:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 5-3-4 overall, 19 points through 12 games (1.58 points per game), with 17 goals scored and 15 goals against.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Revs are still in second place after their 4-2 loss to SKC, and remain two points behind DC United. New England is two points in front of the New York Red Bulls, who now have two games in hand.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Revolution had their unbeaten streak snapped after losing midweek, their first loss since a 2-0 defeat to NYC FC on March 15. The club benchmark for consecutive unbeaten games will remain at 12, which occurred back in 2004-2005.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The Revolution are unbeaten at home so far in 2015, compiling a record of 3-0-3, most recently tying Toronto FC 1-1 on May 16. New England has recorded a goal differential at home of +6, scoring nine and allowing only three.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 The four goals the Revs conceded to Sporting KC was the most New England has given up all season and the first time it&#8217;s conceded that many since a 5-1 loss to the LA Galaxy last July.<\/p>\n<p><strong>DC United Update:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 6-2-3 overall, 21 points through 11 games (1.91 points per game), with 13 goals scored and 9 goals against.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Currently sit atop the Eastern Conference standings, holding a two point lead over the Revs and four point advantage over the Red Bulls. DC has a game in hand over New England, but has played one more than New York.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 DC has compiled a 2-2-0 on the road in 2015, and are coming off a 1-0 defeat away from home at the hands of the Philadelphia Union last week<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 United has yet to play a game in which it&#8217;s allowed more than two goals, but have also failed to score more than two in a game this season.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Like New England, DC United&#8217;s loss in its previous contest snapped an unbeaten streak, last falling to the Red Bulls 2-0 on Mar. 22.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 DC United&#8217;s Chris Rolfe leads the team with three goals, while Jairo Arrieta and Perry Kitchen have each found the net twice.
