Playing out of position at left midfield, Cabadas set up Perry for a 30th minute chance in that game and saw a shot of his own denied by the ‘keeper ten minutes later.

However, the Supplemental Draft pick failed to do enough to earn an extended look from Revs head coach Steve Nicol.

Also departing the team is Perry, a striker out of the University of Notre Dame. Perry, similarly, only saw action in the first half of the Revs game against the U.S. U-17s. He nearly made an immediate impact, but sent a volley just 30 seconds into the match over the net. After getting on the receiving end of Cabadas’ header later in the match, his effort beat the goalkeeper, but was cleared off the line by a defender.

Perry was taken by the Revs in the MLS SuperDraft with the third pick of the third round (39thoverall). He was among several strikers in camp hoping to fill the void left after the retirement of Taylor Twellman.

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-191" data-attachment-id="191" data-permalink="http://nesoccertoday.com/?attachment_id=191" data-orig-file="https://i0.wp.com/nesoccertoday.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/betu.jpg?fit=356%2C443" data-orig-size="356,443" data-comments-opened="1" data-image-meta="{"aperture":"4.5","credit":"CHRIS ADUAMA","camera":"Canon EOS-1D Mark II N","caption":"during Revolution and D.C. That appearance on September 1st would be his last, as injuries hampered him the rest of the season.

The Brazilian-born Linck attended Irvine Valley College and played professionally in Romania and played indoor soccer with the Chicago Storm.
