It appears that Guatemalan trialist Marvin Ceballos is Foxborough-bound after all.<\/p>\n

After trialing with the Revolution in June, the 23-year-old midfielder is apparently set to join the club after his name appeared<\/a> on the latest MLS Players Union Salary list<\/a>, which was released on Friday.<\/p>\n

Ceballos is a 5-5 midfielder who recently played for Guatemalan side Comunicaciones before he was released from his contract. He also starred for the Guatemala U-20 squad back in 2011.<\/p>\n

According to a couple of Revolution players, Ceballos featured as a central attacking midfielder and out on the wing as well during his two-day training stint last month.<\/p>\n

Shortly after the trial, Revolution general manager Michael Burns told ESPNFC.com about the possibility of adding Ceballos to the roster.<\/p>\n

“We\u2019re pretty selective in not wanting to just throw any guy out there with the first team,” Burns said. “We feel like the guys we\u2019ve brought in the past, including Marvin, are getting a legitimate training and trial opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the MLS Salary numbers, Ceballos will command a salary of $50,000.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
