FOXBOROUGH, Mass. \u2013 Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where we have football lines on the field and an expected crowd of over 20,000 awaiting Saturday’s match between the Revolution (13-10-7, 46 points) and the Philadelphia Union (9-15-6, 33 points). Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.<\/p>\n

Tonight\u2019s match marks the third and final time the two sides will face each other during the regular season. In their previous two encounters, the Revolution have taken wins of 2-1 and 1-0, both at PPL Park.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s at stake?<\/strong> For the Revolution, a chance clinch a postseason berth for third straight year awaits them for the second straight week. A win\u00a0and they’re in. For the Union, it’s about surviving 90 minutes without significant injuries ahead of next week’s Open Cup final against Sporting Kansas City.<\/p>\n

Biggest question:<\/strong> Can the Revolution get back to their winning ways after last week’s loss in Montreal? With a full week of rest, and a potentially watered-down Union lineup awaiting them, the Revolution should be able to come away with a win fairly easily.<\/p>\n

Weather:<\/strong> It\u2019s a classic early-autumn evening here at Gillette Stadium, with temps in the mid-60s and clear skies above. Precipitation is not expected to be a factor before the final whistle.<\/p>\n

Referees:<\/strong> Alan Kelly will be the referee on Saturday. The last Revolution game in which he served as the man in middle was their 4-1 loss to the Red Bulls at Red Bull Arena on Jul. 11.
