FOXBOROUGH, Mass. \u2013 Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where we’re expecting a record crowd of close to 40,000 for Saturday\u2019s regular season home finale between the Revolution (13-11-8, 47 points) and the Montreal Impact (13-13-6, 45 points). Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.<\/p>\n

Tonight\u2019s match marks the third and final time the two sides will face each other during the regular season. The sides drew 0-0 in the Revolution’s home opener on Mar. 22, while the Impact got the best of the locals 3-0 in Montreal on Sept. 19.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s at stake?<\/strong> For the Revolution, a fourth chance clinch a postseason berth awaits them in Saturday’s home finale. A win or draw, and they\u2019re in. The stakes are identical for the Impact, who’ll be looking to make postseason reservations with a win on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Biggest question:<\/strong> Can the Revolution get better on both sides of the ball? Over the course of their three-game winless streak, they’ve been outscored 7-3, a sign that both the offense and defense have to get back into gear if they want to finish the season strong, and use that momentum going into the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Weather:<\/strong> It\u2019s a tad chilly here at Gillette Stadium, with temps in the low-50s, and clear skies above. Precipitation is not expected to be a factor before the final whistle, but temps are expected to drop into the 30s.<\/p>\n

Referees:<\/strong> Mark Geiger will be the referee on Saturday. Interestingly, the Revolution are 2-1-1 this year when he’s the man the middle.
