The Revolution’s preseason plans took shape on Tuesday as the club announced its fixture list for the upcoming Desert Diamond Cup tournament.<\/p>\n

After kicking off their preseason schedule with a previously-announced match against the Houston Dynamo on Feb. 7 against the Houston Dynamo in Casa Grande, Ariz., the Revolution will briefly return to Foxborough before heading down to Tucson, Ariz. for the Desert Diamond Cup, which kicks of on Feb. 17 at Kino North Stadium. Their first Cup match, which will take place on Feb. 17, will pit them against Real Salt Lake at 10:00pm ET. <\/p>\n

From there, Sporting Kansas City awaits them on Feb. 20 at 9:30pm ET before the Revolution renew acquaintances with the Dynamo on Feb. 24 at 7:30pm ET. <\/p>\n

The club’s final Cup match will take place on Feb. 27 against an opponent that will be determined based upon the final rankings from the tournament’s first three matchdays.<\/p>\n

Coincidentally, the Revolution will open the regular season at Houston on Mar. 6, marking the third time the two sides will meet in a 31-day span. <\/p>\n
