For the first and only time during the regular season, the Revolution (0-0-2, 2 points) will venture to Talen Energy Stadium to face the Philadelphia Union (1-1-0, 3 points) on Sunday at 2:30 pm.<\/p>\n

The Revolution head into Sunday’s clash looking for win no. 1 while the Union will be looking to kick off their home schedule with their second set of three points this season.<\/p>\n

The match will be broadcast on Comcast Sports Net New England. Former Revolution assistant John Murphy will be making his broadcasting debut alongside play-by-play man Brad Feldman.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s at stake?<\/strong> Aside from getting their first win of the season, the Revolution will be looking for the balance (see: 3-3 and 0-0 scorelines) that’s eluded them in their first two games. As far as Philadelphia goes, they’ll be trying to build upon last week’s 2-1 upset of the reigning conference kings at Columbus.<\/p>\n

Biggest question:<\/strong> If Charlie Davies’ hamstring strain keeps him on the sidelines, can the Revolution offense make the most of their chances? After 18 shots failed to yield a single goal in last week’s clash vs. DC, you can bet they’ll be eager to show they’re capable of capitalizing on Sunday.<\/p>\n

Weather:<\/strong> It might the first day of spring, but Mother Nature apparently didn’t get the memo as temperatures at Talen Energy Stadium are expected to be in the low-40s at kickoff. Moreover, a slowly-developing nor’easter is expected to hit the Philadelphia area after the final whistle.<\/p>\n

Referees:<\/strong> Nima Saghaf will make his MLS refereeing debut on Sunday<\/a>. Joining Rivero for Sunday’s rivalry match will be Sean Hurd (AR1) and Adrian Wienckowski (AR2). The fourth official will be Alan Kelly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
