Matsoso entered camp following an eight-goal, four-assist senior season at the University of Kentucky.<\/p>\n<p>But breaking through a crowded midfield with a number of returning players proved to be too great a challenge for the second-round pick, who was unable to distinguish himself during the course of the winter. <\/p>\n<p>Trialist Emmanuel Appiah was also released from camp on Monday.
