Revolution Academy midfielder Joe Brito scored three goals for the Under-18s over the weekend in their return to action following the U.S. Soccer Development Academy 2016-2017 winter break.<\/p>\n

Brito, who saw action with the Revolution senior team during the preseason, scored two goals in Saturday’s 3-1 win over Seacoast United, and notched another in Sunday’s 3-3 draw to the Montreal Impact. <\/p>\n

The 17-year-old midfielder from Bolton, Ct. is one of two Academy players across all age groups to score at least 10 goals on the season.<\/p>\n

Fellow Academy prospect Damian Rivera also collected 10th goal of the season while playing up with the U-16s in Saturday’s 4-1 win over Seacoast United. The 14-year-old forward from Cranston, R.I. has now played five matches with the U-16s during the 2016-17 season.<\/p>\n

Another Academy product who made an impact over the weekend was forward Izaiah Jennings, notched a brace in the U-18s\u2019 3-3 draw with the Montreal Impact. The 18-year-old from Barrington, R.I. now has eight goals on the year.<\/p>\n

Last, but certainly not least, midfielder Kevin Vang scored his first goal of the season in spectacular fashion with this well-hit free kick in Saturday’s U-18 match against Seacoast United. <\/p>\n
