Should be announced tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Brian Bilello (@RevsPrez) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RevsPrez\/status\/890726084609794049\">July 28, 2017<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>It is unclear whether the signing was acquired via the allocation process, though former Sporting Kansas City striker Krisztian Nemeth, who is available through the process, has been linked to New England <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thebentmusket.com\/revolution-transfer-news-rumors\/2017\/7\/25\/16026416\/2017-revolution-transfer-rumor-revs-krisztian-nemeth\">according to a report from <em>The Bent Musket<\/em>.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the Revolution improved their positioning in the allocation rankings when they acquired the second overall spot from the San Jose Earthquakes for the fifth spot and $175,000 worth of General Allocation Money (GAM).<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, New England will also receive either $175,000 in Targeted Allocation Money (TAM) or $100,000 in General Allocation Money (GAM) and $75,000 in TAM from San Jose in January 2018.<\/p>\n<p>The Revolution roster, as currently comprised, has 24 players, six short of the maximum. They have two designated players &#8211; Xavier Kouassi and Kei Kamara &#8211; and adding a third DP will cost the club an additional $150,000, per MLS roster rules. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Brace yourself, Revs fans.
