Revolution midfielder Jermaine Jones won’t be suspended for Sunday’s match against LA Galaxy despite bumping referee Mark Geiger in the latter stages of last weekend’s 1-1 draw with DC United.

The MLS Disciplinary Committee announced its Week 12 decisions on Wednesday, and Jones’ transgression was not mentioned. As such, the veteran midfielder will only be subject to a standard fine for the caution he received from Greiger as a result of the confrontation, which occurred in the 88th minute. The official reason for the yellow card was for dissent.

At the time, the Revolution were playing with only nine men after Chris Tierney and Lee Nguyen were both issued red cards earlier in the second half.

Tierney and Nguyen will both be banned for Sunday’s game as a result of their dismissals.
