Gillette-01111

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where the Revolution (8-9-7, 31 points) will face the Houston Dynamo (8-8-7, 31 points) for the first and only time this season. Kickoff is set for 7:30pm.

What’s at stake? With the second of only three games the Revolution will play during the month of August, getting maximum points is a must, especially after going unbeaten in their last three (2-0-1). For the Dynamo, it’s about getting another important road result, especially with players like Ricardo Clark and Tyler Deric both out due to injury.

Biggest question: How many minutes does Jermaine Jones have in him? The prized midfielder was taken off the injury report prior to Saturday’s match. Earlier in the week, the Revolution coach Jay Heaps said Jones was anywhere between “90 to 60 to 30 minutes fit.”

Weather: It’s hot and humid here in Foxborough, with temperatures in the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies.

Referees: Juan Carlos Rivero will be the referee on Saturday. The last Revolution game in which he served as the man in middle was 2-0 loss the locals suffered at Portland on Jun. 6. Joining Rivero for Saturday’s proceedings will be Craig Lowry (AR1) and Mark Cahen (AR2). The fourth official will be Robert Sibiga.
