The knockout round that will pit the fifth-place Revolution against the fourth-place DC United at RFK Stadium will take place at 7:30pm on Wednesday after MLS announced the dates and times for all four knockout games following Sunday’s slew of regular season finales.

The match will be nationally broadcast on UniMas, as will the remaining knockout round matches.

The winner of Wednesday’s Revolution-DC match will either host the first-place New York Red Bulls or the second-place Columbus Crew on Sunday, Nov. 1 in the first-leg of the conference semifinals.

The Red Bulls will face the lowest-seeded East team that advances from the Knockout Round, while Columbus will face the highest-seeded team left standing. The third-place Montreal Impact will face sixth-place Toronto FC on Thursday in the other Eastern Conference knockout round.

Wednesday’s match will be the first postseason meeting between the longtime rivals since the 2006 Eastern Conference final, which the Revolution won 1-0 at RFK Stadium.
