The Boston Breakers have released their regular season schedule for the upcoming 2016 National Women’s Soccer League campaign.

It all begins on Saturday, April 16 for the Breakers when they head to Maryland to take on the Washington Spirit. Following the season opener, Boston returns home for three consecutive home tilts, including the home opener on Sunday, April 24 against Seattle Reign FC and U.S. international goalkeeper Hope Solo.

After that, the Breakers will finish the home stretch with games against Portland Thorns FC (May 1) and the Chicago Red Stars (May 7).

“Now that our schedule is released we can start to look forward to the season ahead,” Boston head coach Matt Beard said in a press release. “There are no easy games in this league, and I am looking forward to seeing how this new-look roster will compete.”

This season, all Breakers home games will take place at Jordan Field (formerly Soldiers Field Soccer Stadium) on the campus of Harvard University.

Other notable games on tap this season for Boston include a visit from defending champions FC Kansas City and a home date against the expansion Orlando Pride on July 31.

With the 2016 Olympics scheduled set for the middle for the summer, the NWSL will have a 25-day break from Aug. 1 until Aug. 25, and additionally, will not have any league play during FIFA dates.
