New U.S. Kits Unveiled

US-16

Three weeks after revamping its badge, U.S. Soccer unveiled its newest home and secondary kits on Thursday in New York.

The new kits will officially debut on Mar. 25 with U.S. Men’s National Team’s World Cup qualifying match against Guatemala in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The U.S. Women’s National Team will take the pitch in the new kits on Apr. 6 in an international friendly against Colombia.

The primary kit features a white body with royal blue sleeves while the secondary look is heavy on black with a red right sleeve and royal blue left sleeve.

The new jerseys will be worn during two major competitions this summer, with the Men’s National Team’s participation in the Copa America Centenario and the Women’s National Team’s defense of its gold medal at the Summer Olympics in Rio.

The black secondary kit will mark the first time the Men’s National Team has worn the color. The Women’s National Team previously sported a black kit during the 2011 Women’s World Cup.
