Revolution forward Jerry Bengtson captured a second-half brace for Honduras\u00a0in a 2-2 draw against\u00a0Morocco\u00a0in\u00a0Thursday’s Group D Olympic Opener.<\/p>\n

Bengtson, who signed with the Revolution on July 5,\u00a0struck in the 56th minute\u00a0when he pounced on a Maynor Figueroa rebound. The 25-year-old striker later converted from the penalty spot in the 65th minute for his second strike of the half.<\/p>\n

Morocco’s goals came from Abdel Barrada and Zakaria Labya, while Zakarya Bergdich was red carded in the 71st minute.<\/p>\n

Bengtson and Honduras return to action on Jul. 29 when they face Spain in the second round of Group D.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
