Former New England Revolution SuperDraft pick Ryan Kinne signed with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds (USL PRO) on Monday.<\/p>\n

The 23-year-old midfielder\/forward was drafted by the Revolution in the third round of the 2011 SuperDraft. His lone MLS experience came in the final minute of a 2-1 win over D.C. United on Mar. 26, 2011.<\/p>\n

Following his release from the Revolution last March, the Connecticut native signed with CFC Azul (PDL), where he scored eight goals in 15 games.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m excited to get back on the field and to be challenging for a USL PRO Title,” Kinne said in a statement. “Looking forward to getting into camp, meeting the fellas, and starting training.\u201d<\/p>\n

CFC head coach David Kelly, who coached Kinne at the youth level and was reunited with his former charge last season, supported the move in a statement from the team.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a pleasure to have coached Ryan for a second time in my career,\u201d CFC Azul Head Coach David Kelly said. \u201cHe did brilliantly for CFC Azul, and he\u2019s a true professional. We wish Ryan the best of luck with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. I know he will do great.
