BALTIMORE, Md. – In the final round of the MLS SuperDraft, the Revolution addressed their offensive woes with the\u00a0third round selections of\u00a0forward Stephen Perry (39th overall) , midfielder\/forward Ryan Kinne (42nd overall), and forward Alan Koger (54th overall).<\/p>\n

“We felt pretty good about the guys we were able to get,” said Revolution Vice President of Player Personnel Michael Burns. “We’ll see (how they do)\u00a0in a couple of weeks.”<\/p>\n

Perry starred for four seasons at Notre Dame. He\u00a0earned First Team All-Big East\u00a0honors\u00a0in 2010, scoring 12 goals in 20 games for the Fighting Irish during his senior season. In his collegiate career, the 6-0 striker scored 15 goals to along with 8 assists in 65 matches at South Bend.<\/p>\n

Kinne, a native of Naugatuck, CT, was taken out of Monmouth University, where he established himself as a bonadide MLS prospect.\u00a0The 5-8 midfielder\/forward, who\u00a0was named Northeast Conference Player of the Year\u00a0in 2009 and 2010, scored\u00a035 goals in 77 career matches with the Hawks.<\/p>\n

Koger, a 6-2 striker from William & Mary, was named a First Team Colonial Athletic Association\u00a0honoree in 2010 after scoring 10 goals and 2 assists. He scored career 29 goals in 84 career games with the Tribe from 2007-10.<\/p>\n
