The New England Revolution ended its losing streak at eight on Wednesday with a 3-0 win against the Colorado Rapids and now looks to take that momentum into New Jersey on Saturday as they face the New York Red Bulls.<\/p>\n

Series history:<\/strong>\u00a0Second and final meeting of the season. \u2026The Red Bulls handed the Revolution its first home loss of the season on June 8 by a score of 2-0 and gave New England its second straight loss overall on the way to its eight game losing streak. Eric Alexander scored in the 17th<\/sup> minute and P\u00e9guy Luyindula secured the victory with his 76th<\/sup> minute strike. The Red Bulls won despite being outshot 24 to 8 (10 to 2 on shots on target) and despite missing five key players in striker Thierry Henry, midfielders Tim Cahill and Dax McCarty, and defenders Jamison Olave and Roy Miller.
