Eric Alexander scored in the 17<sup>th<\/sup> minute and P\u00e9guy Luyindula secured the victory with his 76<sup>th<\/sup> minute strike. The Red Bulls won despite being outshot 24 to 8 (10 to 2 on shots on target) and despite missing five key players in striker Thierry Henry, midfielders Tim Cahill and Dax McCarty, and defenders Jamison Olave and Roy Miller. All, but Olave (2 game suspension) are expected to be available on Saturday. \u2026New England holds the edge in the all-time series at 26-21-15, but is only 8-16-8 on the road against New York. \u2026 The Revolution are winless in their last five games (2 loses, 3 draws) against the Red Bulls, with their last win coming July 8, 2012 in Foxboro (Lee Nguyen and Jerry Bengtson scored in a 2-0 win) and last away win coming July 14, 2007 (Andy Dorman scored the lone goal in the Revolution\u2019s 1-0 win that day, assists to Shalrie Joseph and Steve Ralston). \u2026 The Revolution have never won at Red Bull Arena.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Revolution update:<\/strong>\u00a08-11-2 overall, 26 points through 21 games (1.24 points per game), with 28 goals scored and 33 goals against\u00a0 &#8230; Currently third in the Eastern Conference after snapping an 8-game losing streak in MLS matches on Wednesday with a 3-0 win over Colorado \u2026Haven\u2019t won on the road since a 5-3 win at Philadelphia on May 17\u20263-7-1 on the road \u2026 Former Revolution captain Shalrie Joseph (left calf strain) has been upgraded from out to questionable on the injury report for the first time since April.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Red Bulls\u00a0update:<\/strong>\u00a05-6-10, 25 points through 21 games (1.19 points per game), with 33 goals scored and 32 goals against\u2026Sixth place in the Eastern Conference entering Saturday\u2019s game \u2026Got an impressive road point on Wednesday with a 1-1 draw at Real Salt Lake \u2026Has won just once in their six league games (4 draws, 1 loss) since beating the Revolution on June 8 \u2026 Signed French defender Damien Perrinelle on Monday, but is not expected to be available on Saturday \u2026 Have three players on the MLS All-Star team: Thierry Henry, Bradley Wright-Phillips, and Time Cahill.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Players:<\/strong> Goal scorers: New York\u2019s Bradley Wright-Phillips leads MLS with 17 goals in 20 games (17 starts); Lee Nguyen leads New England with 8 goals and is tied for eighth in the MLS goal-scoring charts; Set-up men: French legend and Red Bulls striker Thierry Henry leads MLS with 10 assists; Chris Tierney, Daigo Kobayashi, Diego Fagundez and Teal Bunbury are tied for the Revolution lead with three assists; Goalkeepers:\u00a0 New York\u2019s Luis Robles leads MLS with 70 saves and has a 1.52 goals against average and 64% save percentage; New England\u2019s Bobby Shuttleworth has 58 saves, a 1.42 goals against average, and 64% save percentage.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Injuries:<\/strong> Chris Tierney (left MCL sprain) and Andy Dorman (right MCL sprain) remain out. Shalrie Joseph (left calf strain) has been upgraded from out to questionable on the latest injury report. New York enters the game with no one on their injury report.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Suspensions:\u00a0<\/strong>New York&#8217;s Jamison Olave was suspended two games on Friday for <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mlssoccer.com\/video\/2014\/08\/01\/jamison-olave-grab-javier-morales-contact-face-incident-mls-disciplinary-committee-\" target=\"_blank\">this<\/a><\/span>. New England&#8217;s Lee Nguyen would miss the Revolution&#8217;s next game if he\u00a0picks up a yellow card in the match.
