Former Revolution draft pick Pierre Omanga has landed in Finland after signing a contract with first division side FC Jazz last month.<\/a><\/p>\n

Omanga, who was selected in the third-round of the 2014 SuperDraft, trained with the Revolution during\u00a0last year’s\u00a0preseason, but was not offered a contract. He linked up with the Rochester Rhinos shortly after, and became a free agent following the conclusion of the\u00a0USL season.<\/p>\n

“I’m happy that I’m here, and I’m excited about the new opportunity,” Omanga said in a team release. “Pori seems to be a cool place to be! I would like to score in every game, but also to create chances for other players and be a threat to the opponents in every game.”<\/p>\n

Omanga attended Southern New Hampshire University, where he was named the 2013 Division II Men’s Soccer Player of the Year following a campaign in which he scored 21 goals, tops in the nation.<\/p>\n

Before his stellar season at SNHU, Omanga scored seven goals in 13 games for GPS Portland Phoenix during the 2013 PDL season.<\/p>\n
