A first half brace from Kei Kamara was abruptly cancelled out by a three-goal explosion from the Montreal Impact, who sent the New England Revolution to a 3-2 defeat on Saturday at Stade Saputo in Montreal.<\/p>\n

Kamara tallied in the 18th and 32nd minutes – his first two for the Revolution in league play – before Michael Salazar answered with a double of his own in the 41st and 48th minutes. Ignacio Piatti put any hopes of a Revolution road point out pasture when he scored from the spot in the 51st minute. <\/p>\n

The last time the Revolution opened up a two-goal lead and lost came in a 4-3 defeat at Vancouver on Jun. 15, 2013.<\/p>\n

Saturday’s scoreline doomed the Revolution to their second straight defeat, and dropped them to 4-6-7 (19 points) at the halfway point of the season. The match concluded a five-game road swing across all competitions for the Revolution, who last played in front of the Foxboro Faithful back on May 28. <\/p>\n
