(Photo by CHRIS ADUAMA\/aduama.com)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong> <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Not much he could do on either goal and did well commanding his box in the poor conditions.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Steve Cherundolo<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Quiet night, though passing was still sharp. Almost cost the team with his poor headed clearance, but recovered well.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clarence Goodson<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>4.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Generally good positioning, but outmuscled a few times when challenging for the ball.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Carlos Bocanegra<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>5.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Solid 100th cap, but he needs to do a better job organizing the rest of the backline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Timmy Chandler<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He had his moments going forward, but he was out of sync with the rest of the backline defensively leading to dangerous chances for Slovenia.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kyle Beckerman<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>4<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Consecutive subpar performances for the man counted on to be the anchor in front of the backline. Beckerman\u2019s marking and one-on-one defending was poor.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Michael Bradley<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>5.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Good set pieces and smartly adapted to the diamond midfield, but didn\u2019t see too much of the ball.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Fabian Johnson<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Very active in the attack and looked dangerous from the opening whistle. Did well to earn the penalty kick. Impressive first start.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Clint Dempsey<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>7.5<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Typical Dempsey. Scored a goal, helped create another and was a constant threat all night. When things are going wrong Dempsey can still create something out of nothing.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Edson Buddle<\/strong> \u2013 <strong>7<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Great goal and proved a good partner for Altidore.
