This week Brian O\u2019Connell and Sean Donahue contributed ratings for the <a title=\"Rocky Mountain Low\" href=\"http:\/\/nesoccertoday.com\/?p=836\">Revs\u2019 3-0 loss to the Colorado Rapids<\/a>. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Matt Reis<\/strong> &#8211; Average Rating: <strong>3.5<\/strong> (Brian 4, Sean 3)<br \/>\nMade a few nice saves, but looked shaky throughout the match (Brian) \u2026 Made a couple of spectacular saves, but was rooted to his line on Cummings\u2019 goal and beaten to the near post on Thompson\u2019s. (Photo by CHRIS ADUAMA\/aduama.com)<\/p><\/div>\n<p><strong>Cory Gibbs<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating: <strong>2.75<\/strong> (Brian 3, Sean 2.5)<br \/>\nWas burned on Wells Thomson goal, never stopped the Rapids from swarming around Reis (Brian) \u2026 Left Cummings alone on the first goal, didn\u2019t mark him tightly on his assist to Casey, and beaten by Thompson for the third goal. Overall poor performance (Sean)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Emmanuel Osei<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating: <strong>1.75<\/strong> (Brian 2, Sean 1.5)<br \/>\nDreadful performance. Never seemed comfortable and was directly responsible for the Rapids\u2019 first two goals. Communication issues and poorly weighted passes are making him too much of a liability (Sean) \u2026 Perhaps his worst game of the season. Fooled on the Cummings goal, and was caught ball watching often (Brian)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kevin Alston<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating:<strong> 5.5<\/strong> (Brian 6, Sean 5)<br \/>\nThe only back that performed. Shut down the left flank, added some punch to the attack (Brian) \u2026 Could\u2019ve helped Osei on Casey\u2019s goal. Had a couple of decent moments getting forward (Sean)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chris Tierney<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating: <strong>3.75<\/strong> (Brian 4, Sean 3.5)<br \/>\nOften invisible. Didn\u2019t create much of anything offensively (Sean) \u2026 Absent much of the match, along with the rest of the midfield (Brian)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Pat Phelan<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating: <strong>3<\/strong> (Brian 3, Sean 3)<br \/>\nRun over by the Colorado attack, created nothing but lost opportunities (Brian) \u2026 Didn\u2019t make his mark on the game, poor giveaways and added nothing offensively (Sean)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shalrie Joseph <\/strong>\u2013 Average Rating:<strong> 4<\/strong> (Brian 4, Sean 4)<br \/>\nPart of a midfield that struggled to keep possession and link up with the attack (Sean) \u2026 Not much he could do to aid the attack, as\u00a0the focus lay squarely\u00a0on defending. Passes were accurate but teammates&#8217; bad touches did little to help (Brian)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sainey Nyassi<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating: <strong>3.5<\/strong> (Brian 3, Sean 4)<br \/>\nA few flashes in the second half, but spent much of his time defending (Brian) \u2026 Some moments late in the game, but forced to defend due to the Revs failure to keep possession (Sean)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marko Perovic <\/strong>\u2013 Average Rating <strong>3.25<\/strong> (Brian 3, Sean 3.5)<br \/>\nTried to do too much alone. Only Rev that looked a threat to score in the match (Sean) \u2026 Showed some punch late, but forgot about his teammates and tried to do too much (Brian)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ilija Stolica<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating: <strong>2.75<\/strong> (Brian 3, Sean 2.5)<br \/>\nVirtually non-existent (Brian) \u2026 No impact (Sean)<\/p>\n<p>(Sub) <strong>Kenny Mansally<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating: <strong>4.75<\/strong> (Brian 5, Sean 4.5)<br \/>\nProvided some spark off the bench (Sean) \u2026 Helped give the attack some bite. One of the few effective attacking options (Brian)<\/p>\n<p>(Sub) <strong>Jason Griffiths<\/strong> \u2013 Average Rating: <strong>3.75<\/strong> (Brian 4, Sean 3.5)<br \/>\nDid little to spark the offense.
