WCQ Final Round Schedule Announced

The United States Men’s National Team learned their schedule for the final round of CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying with a draw in Miami on Wednesday. The U.S. will open the final round on Feb. 6, 2013, at Honduras.
The Americans return home to face Costa Rica on March 22 before heading to Mexico on March 26. The U.S. won in Mexico for the first time on Aug. 15 this year.
After those two key matches, the U.S. plays at Jamaica on June 7, and against Panama on June 11 and Honduras on June 18, both on American soil. The U.S. returns to action with a trip to Costa Rica on Sept. 6 and a home match against Mexico on Sept. 10.
The U.S. finishes off World Cup qualifying with a home match against Jamaica on Oct. 11 and a trip to Panama on Oct. 15.
The top three teams in the Final Round advance to the World Cup, while the fourth-place team enters a playoff with OFC’s first-place team for a spot.
The U.S. qualified for the Final Round after topping Group A in the Third Round with a 4-1-1 (13 points) record.
