Toja Fined for Dive

A 42nd minute foul in last Saturday’s Revolution match against the Union will leave Juan Toja lighter in the wallet.
On Thursday, the MLS Disciplinary Committee fined the Revolution midfielder an undisclosed amount for imbellishment following an Amobi Okugo challenge near the edge of the Philadelphia 18. Okugo was issued a yellow card on the play, and the Revolution were given a free kick from about 19 yards.
Each club collected a pair of yellow cards during the game, which the Union won 1-0.

The Revs have to learn how to do elementary soccer stuff like marking in the penalty area and the basic technique of the power shot. Leave the dark side of soccer methodology to the hotshots elsewhere in the league and the rest of the world.
