Breakers Succumb to Reign

Former Breakers draft pick Keelin Winters scored to help the Seattle Reign grab a 2-0 win over Boston at Harvard Stadium on Thursday.
Winters, who was selected by the Breakers in the final WPS college draft in 2012, tallied in the 25th minute while Beverly Goebel opened the scoring with a second minute goal.
Seattle’s win extended their season-long unbeaten streak to 12 games (10-0-2). The loss dropped the Breakers record to 3-9-0.
The Breakers will look to get back in the win column on Sunday against Sky Blue FC at Yurcak Field in Piscataway, N.J. Kickoff is set for 1:00pm.
